TAROT FROM CASA VERDE SCITUATE | August 2025
Happy August and happy birthday Leo’s ! I found inspiration for this month’s tarot spread at a great spot in Scituate; Casa Verde Latin Kitchen on Front Street and inspiration is everywhere in here! I had been craving a Pisco Sour and Casa Verde’s did not dissapoint! The cards I pulled while i was there spoke to me of home, family, celebration, flavor and spirit as well and success for this new business. I’m excited to go back!
ROOTED IN THE EARTH – what nourishes us body & soul? – 9 OF CUPS
Satisfaction, comfort and pride. Give special attention to where you come from this August – your roots, your family, how you came to be you and count all of those blessings. No matter where you are and where you want to be… take pride in what you have accomplished to get where you are by celebrating your successes. Allow yourself to be contented and indulge in everything that comforts and satisfies you from fresh food, to the favorite outfit you feel the most like yourself in.
THE SPIRIT OF THE GLASS – What do we crave? – 10 OF CUPS
Family, Home, and Hearth. Extend your happiness and contentment and share the family, friends, and summer traditions that bring you joy, with the world. August is the last month of a sunny vacation and pending time with those you love those who love you is what is needed. Allow yourself the lazy hazy days before this August ends and the routines of September take over. If you are working on something new, send intentioned wishes to whatever it is. The 9 and 10 of cups are both wish cards!
I pulled a tarot card for the energy of @casaverdescituate and the Magician showed up. Expect magical manifestations from this unique new place on front street.
THE OASIS WITHIN – What energy should we embody? – THE EMPEROR
Leadership. Authority. Inner Truth. This card tells us to be ourselves and show up as who we really are at our core. The Zodiac Sign Aries is represented by The Emperor in Tarot and by the Solar plexus in the Chakra system. ‘Go with your gut,’ the literal engine of your body, Tune in to that energy, trust it as your guide and perhaps perhaps with others around you. You are in charge and new opportunities for forward movement will seem to rise from nowhere!
I had the pleasure of talking with Carlos, Casa Verde’s GM. He has a huge passion for his Latin roots in Bolivia + for its cooking, and I saw how excited he is to be bringing it back to share with his American roots. He shared that awhat they serve here comes directly from Latin America, The flavors and seasonings, the countries like Peru, for their Pisco Sour, and Bolivia, for its amazing Beef! Special thanks to bartenders, Matt and Josh for mixing and modeling! I enjoyed a superb Pisco Sour and a Paloma. Literally everything I tried was so good! I’m looking forward to going back!
