This time of year is my personal favorite as a Virgo rising and a Libra sun it is perfect for late summer reflection and for setting crisp, clear intentions before fall – like a mini new year.
The three cards I pulled for this September and The season of the Hermit ask us what to let go of, and it is answered with choosing peace, trusting our own clarity, and letting the solitude we may find, lead us toward our brightest vision.
Falling leaves: letting go: FIVE OF SWORDS.
Let go of the need to be right and even to be liked at all costs, even if it leaves you standing alone. It’s time to loosen my grip on old arguments, or the urge to prove you’re right. (you want to wear what to school?!) Like the clinging leaves past their season, holding onto these battles only drains your energy. Choosing peace over pride, and wisdom over ego.
What new skill, habit, or study should I devote myself to now? TWO OF SWORDS, The two of swords points us toward clear decision making and a need to make that choice. You need to fine-tune your ability to weigh options in this new and more structured season without being tied to indecision. Virgo season loves a list, a curated plan and a system! Allow yourself some stillness and reflection, maybe a yoga class or meditation (both Virgo modalities)! There is actually a clear choice for you and you actually know the answers and what you want to do but if you are still struggling, journal pros and cons or wants and needs.
Using our time alone – KING OF WANDS
Once you have a cleared things up a bit, some decisions have been made, kids and adults are back on a schedule, your inner fire gets to burn brighter than ever! Use time alone, wherever you may find it as a strategy session a chance to refine your goals and dream with clarity. Bring bold thoughts and intentions to whatever you’re doing, whether work, meal planning, fall decorating With renewed focus and bold intention, you’ll be ready to step confidently back into this new fall world, on top of your game. The King of wands is creative, he’s self made and has been through the fire and back. I love Chumbawumba’s, ‘Tub Thumping’ as a hype song. Find yours!
